Posted on Sun, Feb 17, 2008 Our Boy Scouts head off to the Scoutmasters Camporee February 22 - 24 at Markham Park. Our Boy Scout Troop 306, under the leadership of Nelson Erazo, head off to the 49th Annual Scoutmasters Camporee this coming weekend, February 22 - 24. Again they will be building a gateway and competing in various events. We pray for good weather, that they enjoy a spirit of healthy competition and good sportsmanship, and for their safety. If they win, they win for the glory of God, and if they lose, their work is still for the glory of God. But the important thing is not whether they win or lose... having competed fairly, having done their best ... they are already winners! Scouting builds character.
